In November 2013, I founded Dot Connector Studio, a media production and strategy firm. I’m proud to work with a national network of associates on projects that link content, strategy and emerging tech to drive participation and power social impact. Visit us here.

Our services include:

  • content creation and media strategy for social-issue and cultural productions,
  • research into emerging communications platforms, production practices and user habits,
  • conference and workshop planning for media innovators.

Our first major client was Media Impact Funders, a knowledge network for foundations that support news, documentary, transmedia and social issue productions. Previously, my associates and I have conducted research and organized national convenings with high-profile universities and national media networks, including NPR, PBS, American University’s Center for Media and Social Impact, Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet and Society, USC Annenberg, and MIT. Employers and clients have included Media Impact Funders, AIR, the Knight and Gates Foundations, the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage, Black Public Media, the Library of Congress, the Field Museum of Natural History, and the University of Chicago Press.
